    • On the basis of the test on treating capabilityfor municipal sewage, the purification benefits of 11 species ofhigher aquatic vascular plants in South China are evaluatedcomprehensively. The evaluated items include purification ca-pacit,lodging resistant,management,renewable plant re-source,landscape,etc. The results show:purification capacityof 3 plants include hydrilla uerticillata (Linn.f.)Royle,Baco-pa monnieri(Linn.)Wettst,Blyxa japonica(Miq.)Maxim.exAschers et Gurke,are as good as Eichhornia cuassipes(Mart)Solms laub,and the comprehensive, benefits are better thanthe later. The results,supply a new way to treat the sewage.
