Effects of Ectomycorrhizal Fungi on Heavy Metal Speciation in Rhizosphere of Pinus tabulaeformis Seedlings

Abstract
Heavy metal speciation in the rhizospheric soil of Pinus tabulaeformis seedlings was significantly influenced by inoculation of ectomycorrhizal fungi.Compared with CK,the inoculated rhizosphere was much lower in content of exchangeable copper and cadmium, but much higher in content of organically bonded forms, showing a remarkable tendency of loosely associated forms transforming into tightly associated forms.Ectomycorrhizae evidently decreased bioavailability of heavy metal in the rhizosphere, and alleviated the damage of heavy metal to its host plant.
