Abstract: According to correlative regulations of the State Environmental Protection Administration,the function zones of the Taihangshan Macaca mulatto chinensis National Nature Reserve must be readjusted because the planned Jijin Expressway will traverse the core and buffer zones of the nature reserve.The ecological impact of the expressway project on the nature reserve has been assessed.The integrated influence of the readjustment on Macaca mulatto chinensis and other species in the nature reserve are analyzed,and advices and countermeasures for environmental protection and compensation are put forward.
