Abstract: The main pollutants from electroplating enterprises of township and village industries (TVIs) in China are cyanide and chromium. On the basis of extensive investigation, calculation and analysis, it was found that the quantity of pollutant discharged from TVIs electroplating enterprises mainly depended on the consumption of raw and processed materials. This paper introduced a new method for estimating main pollutant discharge amount from TVIs electroplating enterprises using multiple linear regression equation.
